Media are an important part of children's life. How do children deal with the immense offer of media? What do we know about the effects? And which strategies determine the design of media for children? To answer these questions we will examine and analyze different examples, from print media to television, from knowledge programmes to commercials.
Discussion of different theories and models, sample analysis

Master programme Media: none
Master programme German Philology: positive completion of compulsory module 5 and elective module 1
Teaching degree programme or Diploma programme: 1st part of studies (Linguistics)
Recommended for the 2nd semester (Master Programme Media) and for the 2nd part of studies (Teaching degree programme or Diploma programme). Students of Master Programme Media have priority.
