To heighten students’ awareness of the lexical systems of English in everyday contexts and usage.

Word classes and their characteristics, simple phrases and clauses, lexical relations between words, word formation.

A communicative, pragmatic approach to lexical usage by creating meaningful contexts in the classroom.

Module assessment: final written exam.
Course assessment: project work, course participation etc.
