To heighten students’ awareness of the lexical systems of English in everyday contexts and usage.
Word classes and their characteristics, simple phrases and clauses, lexical relations between words, word formation.
A communicative, pragmatic approach to lexical usage by creating meaningful contexts in the classroom. Group work and interactive teaching.
Final written exam.
