Imparting an overview and exemplarily in-depth knowledge of Italian history of literature from the beginning until the 17^th century / from the 18^th century up to present.

History of Italian literature from the beginnings until the 17^th century / from the 18^th century up to present, in chronological order following historico-cultural epochs as well as literary directions and tendencies. Close studies on examples of the most representative authors or works. Literary studies.

To successfully complete the course:

- course attendance is required (max. 2 units are allowed to be missed)

- 1 or 2 presentations have to be held

- Repetition of topics

- 1 final exam

will be announced in the seminar

Attention please: This course is accredited as „Supplementing exam on Italian Literature” for Southtyrolean students to acquire the recognition of university degrees as well as teaching practice. Only a limited number of 30 students can participate in the seminar, senior students are preferred!
