To improve translation skills. To reach a professional level in the translation of general-interest texts.

Translating demanding texts from Italian into German, text analysis, translation techniques, research.

Interactive classes; critical discussion of various translations working in groups or in class.

Weekly assignments; written intermediate and final exam.

Material will be distributed electronically or handed out in class.

Students must have completed the course Translation II Italian-German to register for this course.

Students must register online.
