In this course, students will enhance their linguistic, cultural and translation skills for the translation of general texts.

Translation of different text types (press articles, travel brochures, etc), development of translation strategies

Individual and group translations, open debates

Midterm test (30%), end test (35%), homework (30%), classwork (5%)

Students must reach 70 points out of 100 to pass the course. Additionally, they must pass, at least, one written test.

All material will be provided on OLAT or in class.
