Practice of scholarly working methods, the use of secondary literature and training of skills allowing to present and discuss the newly-acquired knowledge and related problems in oral or written form.

The history of the Non-Aligned Movement ermeging in 1955 is equally marked by the East-West and the North-South conflict. This course focusses on the orgins, the development as well as on the concepts and objectives of this anti-colonial alliance throughout the Cold War.

Readings, oral presentations with handout, written paper, discussions, formal lecture, exercises.

Course with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, active participation in discussions, oral presentation, written paper.
