The students should know the origin of the science of Kalam and theological schools which are associated with it and deal with the important topics of this science. Application of the methods of interpretation on selected passages from the Qur'an.
Introduction tosystematic theology of Islam (kalām) and its methodology; past and present of the islamic theology and the individual theological schools.
Lecture and discussion.
Written examination.
Will be announced at the beginning of the session.
