Basic terminology, strategies and techniques of rhetorics; Brief overview over the history of rhetorics; description of different types of "New Rhetorics"
Lecture, enlivened with audiovisual aids (PowerPoint presentation)
oral exam on the basis of personal notes and powerpoint-slides
