Revision and practical application of relevant general and subject-specific working techniques: researching, referencing as well as planning, writing and presenting an academic paper.

 This undergraduate course will concentrate on an important source of the time of the Napoleonic Wars. Germaine de Stael was an extraordinary women of her time: she run a salon, was a european traveller and engaged in German intellectual discourses on enlightenment and national politics in Central Europe. The seminar will interprete her text by looking on historical contexts and on public affairs around 1800.
