Gain competence of key qualifications to pass successfully introductory seminars and seminars, knowledge and skills for subject-specific working methods

Teaching of a basic unterstandig of historical thinking; introduction of historical working methods; specific historical research methods; historical town walk; visits of Ferdinandeum, Zeughaus and the Tyrolean Provicial Archives; practical exercises; introduction to different historical publication forms and texts; quotations, citations and research via internet.

Lectures, discussion and short contributions by students

Attendance required (2 lectures missed will be tolerated), active participation, reading, giving short talks, group works, writing short articels.
