Two partners prepare one topic for the excursion toegether and lead this part of the programme, too. The research results produced on-site will be integrated in a current, research-led geographical excursion guide. Every team member will have to contribute their share to this guide after the actual fieldtrip.

The slogan of the excursion is "Quality of Life in the Apennines - a geographical bicycle excursion along the 44. northern line of latitude". All topics of the excursion circle around this main heading, but will also consider the actual geographical possibilities along the line La Spezia - Rimini.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

This is a mountainbike excursion covering all the way between La Spezia and Rimini, so please be prepared for that. Physical and mental fitness and experience in off-road mountainbiking are compulsive.

Please show up well prepared in the first session of the preparatory seminar (e.g. read the literature etc.).
