The expert opinion is one of the main areas of responsibility of the clinical neuropsychologist. In accordance with the respective problem involving the previous findings and the results of exploration and history, as well as taking into account any testbehindernder and results of factors influencing the neuropsychological examination must be carefully planned. The analysis and interpretation of the test results takes with respect to the question and the statements prepared for the start of the diagnostic test hypotheses. The conclusions obtained in this way are documented inr opinions or findings reports.

The types neuropsychological logical appraisals discussed and discussed their various properties. In addition to the formal criteria of the neuropsychological assessment is presented and practiced with objectification and description of cognitive and affective disorders as a result of brain damage. These include studies of basal and higher cognitive tasks, the intellectual power profile, memory, attention, and sensorimotor functions, executive functions and affectivity. The diagnostic areas of responsibility include the description of the current status, follow-up studies, expert opinions, rehabilitation planning, but also the detection of dysfunction in morphologically not yet detectable brain damage. To carry out the investigation also includes the behavioral observation and recording of Aggravations and simulation trends and possible changes in the study plan.

In addition to a theoretical part and practical exercises on the neuro-psychological department of the rehabilitation center of Bad Häring take place.
