The students are qualified to work with theories, research methods and results of research in the field of work and organziational psychology. Furthermore, the course will include a research process which enabels the students to conduct their own study and analyse the data. The preliminary results are presented and critically discussed also concerning their impact for practical use and healthy work.

Emotion regulation at work is an important predictor of workers` health and has become one of the relevant research areas within organisations especially in the context of human service work. The employee-client interaction process is by its nature accompanied with challenging and negative emotions for employees, which need to be regulated because of organisational norms and a successfull working process with clients`. The course will focus on relevant topics, concepts and studies in the context of emotion regulation and health promotion at the workplace.
