Participants of this module shall be able to creatively and methodically deal with  everyday relevant problems of physics, and to present the results of this approach comprehensibly in written and oral form.

Energy demand and consumption and possible scenarios for the future, radioactivity, nuclear energy and nuclear weapons, space travel, determination of the age of archeological samples, environmental physics, if possible historical aspects will be discussed for each of the above mentioned topics

lectures and discussions based on power point and black board presentations

written and oral examination

material will be provided via olat
