Discussion of special topics of probability theory and stochastics for the engineering sciences

Contents:

Aquiring competence on topics from the area of probability and stochastics, relevant for the doctoral program in the engineering sciences. Selection of themes according to demands of participants (e.g. Monte Carlo simulation, stochastic processes, stochastic differential equations, parameter fitting)

Methods:

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Assessment:

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Literature:

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
