Understanding the methodological basics and the most commonly applied tools in conducting economic experiments (field, lab, surveys). Ability to design, implement and analyze experimental finance research on the individual and market level.

The seminar deepens the understanding of basic concepts presented in the lecture by studying and discussing case studies, current research papers and/or exercises.

The module teaches the basic methodological toolbox used in experimental economics and finance. It is therefore of special interest for students who want to apply that method in their master thesis or in a subsequent PhD.
