Learning Outcome:

To gain a basic knowledge of the key concepts, questions, lines of thought and methodologies of philosophy. Competency in interpreting philosophical texts and in scientific writing.

Contents:

This seminar will be based on the discussion and study of a selection of philosophical texts from different historical periods. Through them we will find different conceptions of philosophy, and we will see how concepts and arguments are used to pose the main philosophical questions. It is included an introduction into scientific writing in human sciences.
