Learning Outcome:

Introduction to Ethics by communicating key ethical approaches based on selected issues.

Contents:

Clarification of basic ethical concepts (e.g. justice, dignity); introduction to the history of ethics; systematic outline of ethical theories in the field of normative ethics (including bio- and information ethics) as well as of metaethics (foundation of moral norms, moral language, morality and knowledge)
