General module objectives: To ensure that students have B2 level in listening and speaking skills.
Listening skills objectives: To promote listening skills with particular stress on understanding gist and detail.
Speaking skills objectives: To promote oral skills and highlight problem areas in pronunciation, intonation, stress, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and oral communicative skills.

Listening: use of a variety of texts on areas pertaining to English and American Studies, including literature, cultural, linguistic, media studies etc.

Speaking content: emphasis on pronunciation, stress and intonation; descriptive treatment of above topics areas.

Communicative, interactive approach, group work.
