To heighten students' awareness of time and tense, modality and other key issues of basic grammar in a comparative (English-German) context.

Contents:

a variety of materials illustrating the correlation between time and tense, modality, conditionals, passive.

Methods:

a pragmatic, communicative approach to time and tense and other key issues of basic grammar functions in everyday English.

Assessment:

a mid-term and a final written exam
