To reach a competence of the Italian language which can be used in the familiar and everyday life domains as described by the B1+ level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Communicative, grammatical and lexical contents of the Units 1-7 of the textbook Nuovo Progetto Italiano 2. To have a good knowledge of such morphosyntactic structures like the unstressed combined pronouns, the relative pronouns, the comparison of adjectives and adverbs, the preterite, the past plusperfect, the modal adverbs, the morphology and use of the subjunctive mood, the imperative of politeness, the indefinite adjectives and pronouns, the agreement of the tenses of the subjunctive mood, the use of the indicative and subjunctive moods, the agreement of the tenses of the indicative mood and the knowledge of the semantic-lexical and socio-cultural contents provided for the attainment of the B1+-level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Communicative-grammatical method.

Intermediate and final tests; work conducted during the class and regular execution of homeworks. Constant presence and commitment to the class activities.
