Language course at the B2+ level of the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CERF). Achievement: raising language competence.

Contrastive grammar approach (grammar translation method); review of translation relevant grammar concepts.

Interactive approach. The course will be complemented by guided self-study.

2 tests: MOT (middle of term) and EOT (end of term); continuous evaluation

Reference lists, class handouts and homework assignments will be distributed either in digital form or in hard copy.

In order  to participate in this course, students must have successfully completed Translationsrelevante Fremdsprachenkompetenz I module (all parts) or been placed at this leve after taking the placement test.

Students of this grammar course will also be required to attend the Textproduktion II and Textverständnis II courses as the Translationsrelevante Fremdsprachenkompetenz II comprises 6 semester hours.
