Familiarization with theories and methods of foreign language teaching, interlingual cooperation in foreign language teaching, self-reflection as a language learner

The Common European Framework of Reference - CEFR; language acquisition theories; multilingualism; the skills in language teaching; learner autonomy; curricula and syllabi; media; methods; motivation in language teaching; etc.

Team teaching , lecture, and group work .

Written work tasks and test , oral examination

to be announced in class

A requirement for the admission is, among other things, the parallel registration for this course and for one of the language-specific workshops of the Initial Module.

 This course is part of IMoF's Initial Module (Eingangsmodul). The admission to the course follows the conditions of admission (for information please consult the IMoF website: http://www.uibk.ac.at/imof/lehre.html).

Course commencement: Gr. 0 and Gr 1: 05.10.2015

                                        Gr. 2 and Gr 3: 08.10.2015

Please note that for all groups the test takes place on Saturday, 5th December 2015, from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., in lecture halls (Hörsaal) 4 and 5.
