Overview of the field of Austrian educational history and history of science since the Enlightenment. Comprehension of the central developments and topics of Austrian educational history. Get an overview of the main scientific literature on the subject.

The course addresses central issues of the history of education and history of science in Austria since the Enlightenment. Main topics are educational concepts, reforms of the Austrian educational system as well as the history of different institutions of higher education.
