First experience of working on a major observatory, especially with observation preparation, using a telescope and with the analysis of the results of the observation.

Introduction in practical basis for analysis of astronomical observing results (especially spectroscopy) at the University of Padova in Asiago. Inspection of the telescopes and the analysis appliance in the obsovatory in Asiago. Plans for an observing night depending on the weather.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

Starts on December 11, 2015 (blocked in IBK) and weekend in Padua (January 22-January 24, 2016)
