Students possess advanced knowledge of the theoretical fundamentals of continuous time systems. In particular they are familiar with the spectral properties of continuous time systems. They are familiar with the fundamentals of state space representation of systems. 

Least squares principle; Fourier series; Fourier integral; Burdic theorem; Hilbert transform; Laplace transform; Linear time invariant (LTI) systems; Hurwitz stability criterion; Convolution; Transfer functions; State space representation; Graph theory for electrical networks; Applications: radio frequency transmission systems, LC resonators, Moebius resonators, electrical stimulation of neurons.  

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Written examination

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
