Basic knowledge of important classical 'solutions' of the mind body-problem. 

Presentation of classical approaches to the mind body-problem (Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas); discussion of these approaches for the question of immortality and resurrection.

Lecture, reading of primary texts, discussion.

Oral exam.

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

For BA Philosophie an der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät (C 033 194): positive completion of compulsory module 2.
