summer semester 2016 | Last update: 06.05.2016 | Place course on memo listThe goal of this class is to familiarize those whose native language is not English with English legal texts (cases, textbooks, etc.) and to introduce them to basic (primarily American)English legal terminology in different fields of law.
The topics will include an introduction to US legal education, the US legal profession; US court structure and civil procedure as well as US criminal law, criminal procedure and the rules of evidence.
