This seminar aims at introducing participants to the case-law of courts concerning the Law of the European Union (LEU).

Contents:

Selected topics of LEU concerning Austria. Questions regarding the implementation of LEU.

Methods:

On the basis of a systematic introduction to the transpositition of LEU relevant court decisions will be discussed. Participants will be provided by copies oft he decisions.

Assessment:

Contibutions to discussions, final written exam.

Literature:

Theo Öhlinger/Michael Potacs; EU-Recht und staatliches Recht (4. Auflage, 2011).

Copies of decisions of the courts.
