Students shall be able reflect on the conditions and limitations of ethical decisions in organizations. They shall be able to identify conditions and possbilities of ethical self-formation in organizations. 

 

The concept of ethics, ethical decisions and undecidablity,  Responsibility and responsible decisions. The concept of ethical self-formation and its relevance in organizations. 

Instructions, lectures, plenary and group discussions, reading assignments, student presentations.

2nd Semester. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Module Approaches to Organization Studies. This module is offered to max. 30 students. Students of other Master programmes can choose this module as a free elective. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OBLIGATORY.

 

The Seminar is interlinked and closely connected to the Lecture Introduction to Ethics in Organizations.
