Knowledge of central aspects of the philosophy of the middle ages and its influence on the development of philosophy.

Presentation of the most important developments of philosophical discourse from early platonism to the reception of the philosophy of Aristotle, the influence of byzantine, jewish and arabic thought and to the gradual discovery of subjectivity, autonomy and experimental science.
