Students are able by means of selected issues to prepare scientifically the pedagogical approach with migration social phenomena in the consulting field.

In educational sciences, which deal with the educational handling migration-related difference, two general approaches are usually distinguished: "Foreigners Education" and "Intercultural Education" (about Auerheimer 2008; Mecheril 2004). Accordingly can be customized with respect to consulting and migration, the paradigmatic approaches of "Foreign Advice" and "multicultural counseling" account. In dealing with the research situation in this field of research we want to pursue based on selected questions the relationship of pedagogical action in consulting work and this interview then, are discussed and highlighted what aspects under conditions of migration.

Course with formative assessment, i.e., students are graded on the basis of written and/or oral tasks assigned regularly over the term. (Text reading, discussion participation, keynote speeches, scientific work)

The seminar deepens the contents of the VO "Introduction Migration Pedagogy" and "history, concepts and terms of migration pedagogy".
