Students can explain fundamental terms of German linguistics and analyze linguistic items with the methods of central linguistic disciplines.

The course serves to deepen those topics that are given in the lecture „Survey of German Linguistics“. The knowledge acquired in the lecture will be applied and deepened in selected parts by practical exercises.
