summer semester 2016 | Last update: 30.06.2016 | Place course on memo listThe workshop introduces codicology and textual scholarship; after the explanation of some basic terminology („Variant“, „Collation“, „Stemma“ etc.) it will be studied how a text can be critically edited.
Palaeographic exercises, explanation of technical terminology, history of the various ecdotic methods.
Group work, lecture, exercises.
Assignments, active co-operation, ecdotic assignment (edition).
