summer semester 2016 | Last update: 23.05.2016 | Place course on memo listThe purpose of this course is to present some important aspects of the Italian history from the '80s up to today.
The last 25 years: from the first to the second Republic; "Mani pulite" and corruption in Italy; migrations; the mafia and its connections to political power; from Berlusconi to Monti.
The program will be presented through lectures, use of multimedia supports and vision of films. The participants will hold presentations and submit written exercices.
Final written examination + presentation on a given subject. Submission of a final written paper.
