611261 UE Reading/Writing 1 (B1+)
summer semester 2016 | Last update: 06.04.2016 | Place course on memo listComprehension and production of various texts related to familiar subject matters for the attainment of the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The aim of the course is to provide the students with the linguistic tools required to understand B1 level texts and to gradually lead them from guided to free writing activities, encouraging them to develop their own ideas with originality, clarity and a good style. We'll try to attain this aim with various exercises aimed at the lexical and morphosyntactic accuracy, the correct formulation and the textual cohesion and coherence.
Comprehension of short descriptive, informative, narrative and regulative texts written with an every day language. To be able to write simple texts about familiar subject matters or personal interests, personal letters describing experiences and impressions, short stories, descriptions of people and places and short texts about the environment in which we live, about hobbies and pastimes, our society, our imagination and culture and about Italian traditions and customs.
Communicative-situational method and use of various strategies and techniques aimed at the improvement of reading and writing activities.
Intermediate and final test. Regular writing activities during the class and at home. Regular presence and commitment to the class activities.

Additional authentic and enrichment materials will be delivered by the teacher and made available on OLAT and/or through photocopies.
Passing of the orientation test at the beginning of the semester.
The detailed programm will be delivered at the beginning of the course.
The course will start during the second week of the semester.
