Students will learn about typical translation processes while working on texts of a non-technical nature. Among other things, students will work on their foreign language skills, analyze source texts, learn about text type conventions, choose adequate research tools and genre-specific texts, implement proofreading measures.

texts from the tourism industry
Students will produce content-focused translations of tourism texts as part of a fictional translation project.
