To learn how to translate legal texts, to gain an insight into the legal system of English-speaking countries.
Systematic work on legal terminology, research strategies, translating legal texts correctly
Textual analysis, discussing the translations prepared at home, comparing and discussing different suggestions
Two tests, one home assignment
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
