The acquisition of key qualifications needed for the successful completion of pro-seminars and seminars; knowledge and practical use of subject-specific working methods as well as the fundamental rules of academic work.
Introduction to research methods: Information management (investigation, bibliography), selection and writing of texts, analysis of the characteristics of scientific language, science ethics, acquisition of media literacy, teamwork and training of performative skills.
Formal lectures, brief oral presentations, teamwork, discussion.
Course with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, oral presentation, reading and short written papers.
Online-enrollment required, starting on Feb 1, 2016.
