Theoretical foundations of multilingual language teaching approaches will be presented and discussed on the basis of psycholinguistic and communication theory models. In addition, examples for their practical application will be provided.

This course is part of IMoF's Middle Module (Mittelmodul). For students of English this course can only be used as an optional course (Wahlfach), and not as an IMoF middle Module course. The course is only credited for students studying two Foreign Languages and compensates the "Einführung in die Didaktik des Fremdsprachenunterrichts". The admission to the course follows the conditions of admission (for information please consult the IMoF website: http://www.uibk.ac.at/imof/lehre.html).
