Revision and practical application of relevant general and subject-specific working techniques: researching, referencing as well as planning, writing and presenting an academic paper.

In the time between 1500 and 1800 the military system in Europe was totally changed. The former landsknechts became soldiers of standing armies.

In our class we will have a detailed look on the changes of the military system. Furthermore we will discuss the relations between military men and civilians in the early modern German society.
