The learning objective is to unserstand the fundamental concepts of computer networking. Students understand these concepts and are able to apply this knowledge.

The objective of this course is gain first insights into the field of computer networking. We study the fundamentals of computer networking based on typical Internet protocols. In the sopce of the proseminar, we discuss all selected topics in more details, focusing on programming examples and theoretical analysis.

This bachelor class is taught in German. Almost all course material is available in German. The class splits into a lecture and a proseminar.

The examination consists of two written exams for the lecture and the proseminar.
