Students work out, present and discuss background knowledge required for the associated practical course. They acquire an overview of different genetic engineering methods for microbes and are able to interpret the results obtained from their own experiments conducted in the practical course.

Respective basics and background knowledge for the practical course “Genetic Engineering of Fungi” will be worked out and presented. The results obtained during the course will be presented, interpreted and discussed.
