The students learn how to formulate an interdisciplinary research question, to select appropriate methods for testing the question, and to analyze and evaluate results. Moreover, they are able to explain the results of the study to their colleagues and discuss them critically.
Formulation and realization of a specific project (also interdisciplinary) to address a current research question (alternatively from a terrestrial or aquatic environment). Distinct project sub-teams work on different parts of the project, which are integrated within the framework of a workshop
Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
Writing of a Report
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
Requirement/s for attendance: positive evaluation of the first part of the module
This year, the course focuses on limnology.
