Analysis of philosophical reflections concerning the connection between theory and praxis.

Human beings are longing for a life full of meaning and purpose. What are the preconditions for such a meaningful life? This question does not address the subjective-psychological but the ontological level, that is, what must exist, that a meaningful life becomes a real possibility?

We will discuss various philosophical answers to this question, among others those given by Kant, Russell, Camus and Nagel.
