The view of the churches in the global South, which are often called "mission lands" can be for the viewer a fruitful contribution of their own positioning. Especially the Church in Brazil and in Latin America, but also in Africa and Asia, is a church that relies on small local communities and responsible collaboration of the laity. In this seminar will be treated, in addition to the pastoral situations (especially in Brazil), the canonical bases of small church communities and the question of the assumption of responsibility within the Church by lay person.

„A little more mercy chances the world, it make it less cold and more just … God will never get tired of forgiving, would we never get tired of asking for forgiveness” (Pope Francis, March, 17, 2013). The matter/request of mercy impresses Pope Francis, what is demonstrated by the call out of the year of charity and the associated legal innovations. Must mercy not characterize the canon law and its use or join law and justice from? The research-seminar will deal biblically, historically, theologically and canonically this iussue.
