Learning Outcome:

Group 1: Concentrated preparation regarding important aspects of the work as a personnel manager

Group 2: The aim is to provide insights into human resources management (HRM) which are relevant for employees as well as employers

Contents:

Group 1: In-depth presentation of selected aspects of Labour Law which are of particular importance for personnell managers.

Group 2: History of HRM, theories and concepts, strategic HRM, leadership, motivation and controlling

Methods:

Group 1: Theoretical input, group work, case studies

Group 2: Lectures and case studies

Assessment:

Group 1 and 2: oral examination

Literature:

Group 1: Will be announced in the preliminary discussion

Group 2: Will be handed out in class

Remarks:
