Students have basic knowledge of educational and social-scientific texts and are able to explore them hermeneutically.

Based on a  selection of basic literature on „upbringing“  and “education” (ranging about 600 pages) scientific reading and the process of working with specialized literature is acquired and various specific questions are developed.

Sustainable reading of the given texts as well as writing drafts answering several questions.

This lecture requires the amount of 7,5 ECTS-AP. In order to obtain a certificate it is required to attend regularly (max. one session can be missed!), to thoroughly read the given literature, to continuously write various individual texts and to participate in discussions. Course with formative assessment, i.e., students are graded on the basis of written and/or oral tasks assigned regularly over the term.

 Students are allowed to miss max. ONE session! The entire course work has to be handed in by the end of January 2017.
