The purpose of this course is to enable students to reach B2 level of proficiency in Italian Language, according to the European Common Framework.

Communicative, grammatical and lexical contents offered in units 8-11 of "Nuovo Progetto Italiano 2". Knowledge of morphosyntactic structures such as gerundive, infinitive and passive clauses. Direct and indirect discourse, subordinate clauses; lexical, semantic and sociocultural contents to achieve B2 level of the Common European Framework for Languages.

Global method (communicative and grammatical approach).
Written intermediate test; final written test (summative evaluation). Work in classroom and at home during the semester. Regular attendance and commitment. Students are allowed to only 2 justified absences.

T. MARIN - S. MAGNELLI, Nuovo progetto italiano 2. Libro dello studente with CD-Rom and Quaderno degli esercizi (Ed.Edilingua). M. RICCI, Via della Grammatica, (capitoli relativi), Edizioni Edilingua. It is strongly recommanded to students who intend to specialize in Italian to purchase a reference grammar book such as Giovanni Battista Moretti, L'italiano come prima o seconda lingua - Nuova edizione, Guerra Editore.

Having passed the whole module Italienisch 1.

Due to substantial differences in the allocation of ECTS-Credits in various curricula (teacher training programs/specialized degree programs), the requirements for this course vary. Information will be provided by the instructor at the beginning of the course. 

The detailed program of this course will be delivered by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. The course will start during the first week of the semester.
